Han Ye Seul (born September 18, 1981) is a Korean actress and model primarily working in Korea. Han's real name is Kim Ye-Seul-Yi, while her English name is Leslie Kim. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, before moving to South Korea to pursue acting/modeling. She attended Cerritos High School and graduated from Cerritos College with an AA degree in computer graphics and is fluent in both English and Korean. Han Ye Seul gave up her American nationality in 2004 for a Korean one in order to fully establish herself on the Korean market as a Korean actress.

Han debuted as a model after winning a super model competition in 2001. Ye-seul is an all-round artist as she is a singer, actress of dramas and movies. She also has starred in a variety of commercials in Korea ranging from health drinks to beauty products to Venus women's apparel to Pizza Hut TV spots, Samsung ads and commercials for Motorola phones. She is also the voice for the character Susan Murphy in the Korean-language version of the DreamWorks Animation film Monsters vs. Aliens (2009). She also appeared in Rain's music video for "Love Song".

She was involved in a dispute with Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) for failing to show up to filming of the drama Myung Wol the Spy on 14 August 2011. Her agency cited conflicts with her PD over her working conditions, although it earlier explained that her absence was the result of poor health. It was revealed that she worked several extra hours and slept for only one to two hours for several weeks. She also received an injection for fatigue. She unexpectedly left South Korea to return to Los Angeles that day. At a meeting on the 15th, Kim agreed to return to filming on 16 August. She returned to Korea on the 18th bringing her mother back with her for support. She was reported to have given a press conference at the airport apologizing on her sudden absence citing difficulties and hardships she had. She also remarked that she firmly believes that what she did was right despite criticism from the public and other media sources that pointed out her unexpected sudden absence from shooting.

Panoramica su tre k-drama (Drama Coreani)

SPY MYUNG WOL.
Una spia della Corea del Nord, Han Myung Wol, e il suo partner, Choi Ryu, vengono mandati in Corea del Sud per rapire la top star Kang Woo. L'obiettivo è di creare scompiglio nella cosiddetta Hallyu Wave prendendo in ostaggio questo popolare uomo di spettacolo. Nonostante la sua competenza nel suo lavoro, Myung Wol ha una fatale debolezza: non pensa prima di agire e finirà per innamorarsi di Kang Woo.

COFFEE HOUSE.
E’ proprio Kang Seung Yeon, venticinquenne senza arte né parte, a raccontarci questa storia, che ha inizio nella “squallida” caffetteria gestita dalla sua famiglia, dove trova rifugio Lee Jin Soo, attraente scrittore di successo, scappato dallo Staff della casa editrice, allo scopo di evitare una sessione di autografi per la promozione dell’ ultimo libro. La cosa non manca di far infuriare Seo Eun Young, suo editore ed amica di lunga data, giunta al limite della sopportazione.



COFFE PRINCE.
La protagonista di questo drama è Go Eun Chan, una ragazza che dopo la morte prematura del padre avvenuta quando ancora frequentava le scuole, si è sobbarcata il peso delle spese della propria indigente famiglia. Con una madre dalle mani bucate e una sorella capricciosa da mantenere Eun Chan è costretta a fare più lavori e così la sua giornata è piena d’impegni che variano dalla consegna del latte il mattino presto e dei pasti al pomeriggio-sera, alla scuola di Arti Marziali dove tiene un corso di karate per i bambini.
